(58 minutes)

This month we will screen this well-researched video presentation by Alison Weir, the founder and Executive Director of the organization If Americans Knew.

The mission statement of this nonprofit declares: “In any democracy, it is essential that its citizens be fully and accurately informed” so that “they will, in the final analysis, act in accordance with morality, justice, and the best interests of their nation and the world. With insufficient information, or distorted information, they may do the precise opposite.”

The goal of this organization is to “educate the American public on issues of major significance that are unreported, underreported, or misreported in the American media” in order to provide full and accurate information, with a specific focus on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Few Americans today are aware that U.S. support enabled the creation of modern Israel. Even fewer know that U.S. politicians pushed this policy despite the forceful objections of top diplomatic and military experts.

Alison Weir’s book, Against Our Better Judgment: The Hidden History of How the U.S. Was Used to Create Israel, brings together meticulously sourced evidence to illuminate a reality that differs starkly from the prevailing narrative. This is a clear parallel to what those in the 9/11 Truth movement have worked to accomplish over the past 13 years.

Ms. Weir has given talks at numerous educational institutions, including Harvard Law School, Stanford, UC Berkeley, Yale, the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and the Naval Postgraduate Institute. She has spoken four times at the Asia Media Summit in Kuala Lumpur and Beijing and has twice given briefings on Capitol Hill. She has also given presentations at the Jerusalem Media Center Conference in the West Bank.

In addition, we will view a short film on 9/11, yet to be determined.

Please join us for the screening of these presentations followed by group discussion and sharing.

If you are unable to attend, Alison Weir’s 58-minute presentation can also be viewed online: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-UwcVP_k2Y. Links to further information on the issue can be found at the end of this announcement.
