In a breakthrough for the 9/11 truth movement, Tucker Carlson interviewed former U.S. Congressman Curt Weldon, who is calling on the Trump administration to form an independent, presidential commission to reinvestigate 9/11.

During the interview (released April 14, 2025), Weldon stated that two of the alleged hijackers were on the CIA payroll, that the 9/11 Commission Report “is a piece of garbage,” and that NIST “came out with a report that’s hogwash.”
As for Tucker Carlson, he admitted that he “never questioned anything about 9/11, and I actively attacked people who did. I’m ashamed of that.”
Carlson also stated that he is “planning a multi-part documentary series on 9/11.”
The current call for a Trump presidential commission to investigate 9/11 is being presented by Weldon in collaboration with high-ranking firefighters, scientists, and engineers, all of whom are calling for a new investigation into the events of 9/11.
Weldon is adamant that President Trump himself should appoint the members of this commission eliminating politicians, staffers, and bureaucrats — to ensure an unbiased investigation into the events of 9/11.
