Interview with Chandler and Jonathan Cole, PE
In a newly published, peer-reviewed paper by David Chandler, The Descent and Tilting of the North Tower Antenna, Chandler demonstrates that the North Tower antenna drops before the building perimeter.
Summary of Findings:
The North Tower of the World Trade Center is the one with the tall antenna. The famous Sauret video, shot from the perspective of the north face of the building, shows the antenna appearing to sink into the building just before the perimeter of the building starts to descend.
This poses a significant problem for the official narrative. Since the antenna is supported by the core columns, the only way for the antenna to fall first is for the core columns to be “taken out” with explosives. Neither NIST, nor anyone else, has proposed a “natural” mechanism for this to happen.
However, NIST claims that the apparent early dropping of the antenna is simply an illusion, and that it is actually tipping along with the roof toward the south, directly away from us in the Sauret video. But NIST has never done any actual measurements that prove this hypothesis.
Chandler does the measurements, comparing the amount of drop with the amount of tilt in the first seconds of the collapse. He demonstrates that the amount of tipping can account for only a few centimeters of apparent drop. In contrast, the measured vertical motion is several meters.
This proves that the movement we are seeing is actual downward motion, not the illusion claimed by NIST. We therefore know that explosives were used to initiate the collapse of the tower.
This is one more nail in the coffin of NIST’s hypothesis that the North Tower was a natural, gravity-driven collapse.
