Analysis of the Flight Data Recorders for UA93 and AA77 Effectively “Prove” that the 9/11 Aircraft Were Manually Controlled

By Wayne H. Coste, PE

Those of us who have worked closely with Wayne Coste know him to be an exceptionally keen observer of details often overlooked by others.

During the last year and a half, Wayne has engaged in a significant 9/11 research project to investigate the Flight Data Recorders (FDRs) recovered from American Airlines flight 77 that crashed into the Pentagon and United Airlines flight 93 that crashed in Shanksville, PA.

For the last 20 years, these surviving Flight Data Recorders have been ignored by the vast majority of the 9/11 Truth community because of persistent claims that they were faked, in addition to their technical nature, which made investigating their contents a challenge.

1) The FDR for AA 77 provides an accurate record of the last second — including the impact into the generator trailer and then the Pentagon facade, as well as the plane’s dynamics during its final second.  (This information was not available until 2010 when the final data frames were recovered.)

2) Data contained in both FDRs show weight distribution changes consistent with passengers being moved to the rear of the planes.  This information is consistent with descriptions provided by phone calls from passengers.  Furthermore, on UA 93, the weight distribution changed in a manner, and at the time, consistent with the “Let’s Roll” phone call.

3) While many people have asserted that United Airlines flight 175 final banking turns into the South Tower were done under computer guidance, the implausibility of such an explanation, given control system theory, will also be addressed.

Wayne states that the data contained in these FDRs have been available for over 20 years, but they have never been investigated until now.

David Chandler, representing Colorado 9/11 Truth, will interview Wayne about his hypothesis via Zoom.

Bio: Wayne H. Coste, PE:
Wayne Coste is a licensed professional engineer with nearly 50 years of professional experience. He was awarded his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut in 1977.

Wayne is probably best known in the 9/11 truth movement for his groundbreaking analysis of the evidence at the Pentagon, but he has done equally valuable work on the World Trade Center.
