Breaking! Public May Access Livesteam of Oral Arguments by the Lawyers’ Committee

Friday, January 21, 10:00 AM EST

The federal lawsuit in the Southern District of New York brought by the Lawyers’ Committee for 9/11 Inquiry (LC) is now before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. The purpose of the lawsuit is to compel the U.S. Attorney to deliver the LC’s grand jury petition on the demolition evidence to the federal special grand jury. The case has been fully briefed, and oral argument is currently scheduled for this Friday, January 21, 2022. Attorney Mick Harrison will argue for Plaintiffs-Appellants.

The public may access the audio livestream of the lawyers’ argument scheduled for 10 AM Eastern time on Friday, Jan. 21st at this link:

Should this link not work, the Court advised that a livestream link (presumably the same one) to the oral argument (audio) will be available on the Court’s website at this page.

Notes:

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit will not be holding oral arguments live due to the pandemic, so no one will be able to attend in person.

The argument will be recorded by the Court of Appeals and should be accessible later on the Court’s website.
