Medea Benjamin has spent years studying the U.S.-Saudi connection and will be speaking about her new book on this subject. Medea and Code Pink have actively supported the release of the 28 pages as well as the passage of JASTA.

According to Les Jamieson, founder of, “This is a prime example of how a few Left organizations have taken action on a 9/11-related issue due to the fact that there’s legislative action that has taken place.

“As we know, up to this point the Left/anti-war organizations have refused to take any productive position with 9/11 activism. Now their participation is creating more awareness of the 9/11 cover up and the evidence of Prince Bandar and high level Saudi complicity found in the 28 pages. This increase in awareness will help advance the cause for litigation begun in 2002, which can be re-launched now that JASTA has done away with sovereign immunity.

“So the 28 pages and passage of JASTA (Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act) continue to be of highest relevance, enabling the 9/11 families to move forward in their lawsuits against Saudi Arabia and other related entities.

“Once the 9/11 families are able to submit discovery and bring witnesses into court, we believe that information will come to light that will lead to other aspects of the 9/11 attacks. There’s also a great possibility of the Saudis implicating other guilty parties, according to indications that they are extremely nervous about the developments of the last six months. We can only imagine.

“We applaud Medea for supporting the release of the 28 pages and the passage of JASTA.”
