A New WTC 7 Investigtion in 2015?! Announcing the NYC CAN "High-Rise Safety Initiative"

Our friends at NYC CAN have another initiative for this fall’s New York City ballotthe “High-Rise Safety Initiative.”

We believe this one will make it to the NYC ballot, but read for yourself the letter below from Richard Gage, AIA, to see why.

Importantly, two anonymous donors have pledged $50,000 to match every dollar donated to the High-Rise Safety Initiative between now and April 1st. This means every dollar you give is really worth two! But the matching donors will only contribute however much NYC CAN is able to raise.

Please donate online whatever you can afford!  If you prefer to donate by check or money order, make your check or money order out to “NYC Coalition for Accountability Now” and mail it to this address:

1 Penn Plaza
Suite 6293
New York, NY 10119

I just contributed $500 because I believe the High-Rise Safety Initiative represents our best opportunity yet to obtain a real investigation into the events that took my son’s life. A little bit goes a long way when we are in this together.

In gratitude,

Bob McIlvaine

From Richard Gage, AIA:
An Unprecedented Opportunity
for a New WTC 7 Investigation!

Dear Friends,

We at AE911Truth are proud to announce our enthusiastic support for the “High-Rise Safety Initiative”, a ballot initiative being sponsored by our friends at NYC CAN.

When passed by the voters on November 4, 2014, the High-Rise Safety Initiative will require the New York City Department of Buildings to launch an investigation into the collapse of Building 7. With sustained public pressure and the body of evidence that has been built, we will then work to ensure that an honest investigation is conducted.

Real opportunities to bring about an official 9/11 investigation don’t come along often. While AE911Truth is devoting resources this year to legal action against NIST, we also strongly support other promising efforts to push this critical pursuit forward into official venues. The High-Rise Safety Initiative is especially important because of the unprecedented public dialogue that will ensue in the run-up to the election once it is officially on the ballot.

If You Want a Building 7 Investigation… Donate Today at HighRiseSafetyNYC.org

To make it onto the ballot, the High-Rise Safety Initiative needs to gather 110,000 signatures from registered voters between May 1 and July 31, and they cannot do it without those of us who want a new investigation directly supporting it. Your generous donation is essential if you want the High-Rise Safety Initiative to have a chance of succeeding, and so we encourage you to visit the website to donate today.

Can the City stop the High-Rise Safety Initiative from going on the ballot?

In 2009, the City of New York was able to stop NYC CAN’s ballot initiative from going on the ballot by challenging its legality. This time around, the petition has been carefully crafted by election attorneys to avoid all potential legal obstacles and overcome a challenge from the City. Learn more and read the petition.

While success cannot be guaranteed, our trust level with NYC CAN is 100%, and we are fully behind this important effort. We believe a modest donation, within your means, is a small price to pay for a very good chance of putting this historic measure the ballot. And that is why we are asking you to support the High-Rise Safety Initiative.

We thank you for your continued commitment to this vitally important cause.

When the High-Rise Safety Initiative is successful, it will be because of the difference you made with your donation.

Sincerely yours,
